What personality type is Captain Ahab? Captain Ahab is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/so - 684 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
INTJ is the obvious type, busy I'm inclined to agree with it. That being said, I've also considered ISFP or even ESFP. He not exactly a healthy individual, which makes him difficult to type accurately.
Biography
By far the most famous character in the novel, Ahab is the captain of the Pequod, who has abandoned commercial whaling in favor of his obsession with hunting down and taking revenge on the whale which ate his leg: Moby Dick.
