What personality type is Mabel Tanaka? Mabel Tanaka is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sp - 278 in Enneagram, SLOAN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
(EDIT: I see her more as a ISFP, very full of Fi-Se instead of Se-Fi, I don’t normally type characters and need to do proper research, sorry!! Same enneagram and tritype for my vote tho) After watching the movie, I personally believe she is a ESFP. Here’s my take: She’s full of Se, she wants to live out the moment, energetically active and goes with her gut / experience rather than abstract theories unlike Dr. Sam and Nisha. However, she does have creative theories like how to save the gland with common knowledge. She’s mostly take risks, driven by sensory and aware of her surroundings, and very action oriented. Also, in character is fueled with Fi. She’s focused on what’s true to her and doesn’t care about the laws and cares about the animal’s homes unlike Mayor Jerry’s idea of building a highway. I would explain more about her ESFP cognitive functions but would like to leave room for her enneagram and tritype. Overall, she’s active, spontaneous, and stands up what’s right for her personal values. With the enneagram 2w3, she’s wants to help people and naturally became a giver when taking care of her grandma and the environment, it was her duty to make it better. She wants to harmonize the humans plus the mammals. which explains the 2 wing. For the 3 wing, she’s also focused on being successful and right, she’s wants to achieve and prove others. she wants approval and validation for her appreciation for wildlife. Now for the Tritype 278, again, a strong desire to help others like how she didn’t bother helping the old man with his groceries list in the post-credits. For the 7, she’s the classic adventurer and filled with positive attitude and optimism. Paired with the 8 wing, brings her rebellious side. She wants challenges and isn’t afraid to speak up to the insect queen and shouting up to her. She’s full of independence and doesn’t like people control her and her beliefs. That’s much all I got after watching the movie, I don’t normally type out personality types and kinda new so please don’t be afraid to correct me or give me your opinions! ^^
