What personality type is Kai? Kai is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - so/sx - 873 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
(Sorry I comment on this page so much, I promise this will be my last one) However, after researching more on the SLOAN Theory, I disagree with Kai being high in agreeableness. I think SLUEN makes more sense than SLUAN. Despite being nice, friendly, protective, and caring, I think he's egocentric more. Truthfully, I don't think he's selfish, careless, or has little care for others, he is quite the opposite, especially this typical behavior is with people he's close to. That can definitely show his high altruism. In addition, Kai is very sympathetic and tender, does not mind if people he's close to treats him young/does not mind sympathizing with others, like he does with Lloyd in "Possession". Although his altruism and sympathy are high, I'm pretty sure the remaining letters are low. Trust in others is definitely low- In the first season he does not believe Garmadon is really being friendly and does not believe him at first. In "Hands of Time" he immediately fights off his father and does not trust him that he's working for Krux and Acronix as the enemy. Many more examples for sure, but definitely these are primarily evident. Straightforwardness is low, he can be domineering, demanding, and asks for things demandingly to others. Compliance is definitely low, like how he can cheat his way to get things, such as what he does to Karlof in "Tournament of Elements". ~Scale~ (I think) Altruism - High Modesty - Moderate to low Sympathy - High Trust in Others - Low Morality - Low Compliance - Low Pretty sure Kai is a SLUEN, not SLUAN. Someone protective and loyal is NOT equivalent to being accommodating, that is just his Social 8 secondary behavior.
Biography
Kai was once a blacksmith who owned the Four Weapons shop along with his younger sister Nya. Ever since the disappearance of his parents, he had taken it upon himself to keep the family business going and vowed to surpass his father's smithing skills. With the Skulkin Army invading his village and taking Nya hostage, Kai is motivated to accept Master Wu's offer to learn Spinjitzu. He eventually teams up with the other Ninja to seek the four fabled weapons of Spinjitzu to stop Lord Garmadon.
