What personality type is Rider? Rider is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - SO7 - 783 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Why ENTP? Atleast give reasons why. I voted for ESTP is because the Se is clear than Ne. Being smart doesn't mean the character is already ENTP. He shows bluntness, straight forward thinking, and Fe orientation as well (He choose mori's needs more than his.) He even risk things just for mori, he didn't think twice like thinking a lot of possibilities before doing things just like how he went to mori from that arbitration place. I don't see Ne at all, Only SeTi+Fe. Fe, not Fi because he didn't do things because of what he feel is right and what his value said, he thinks about mori's feelings reasons he thought about his past that he doesn't want mori to experience the same situation he had experienced. He senses first, acts fast, then thinks tactically. That’s Se+Ti. When something happens, he responds to what’s physically in front of him like danger, movement, opportunity, and intervenes immediately. He doesn’t generate lots of possibilities first (Ne) to act but instead he commits, then adapts in real time. That’s dominant Se. His decision-making feels like quick internal logic under pressure, which points to auxiliary Ti. He does fast, practical evaluations, not long conceptual analysis. The logic exists to support action, not ideas 😬 which fits ESTP more than ENTP. The biggest difference from ENTP is where the energy goes. ENTPs lead with Ne, so they naturally explore possibilities, theories, and alternative angles before locking in (I haven't seen him act like that, have you?). Ryder doesn’t show that pattern. He engages the situation directly and adjusts while moving (The city accident where he uses gun, and other stuff that both of him and mori experienced.) Even emotionally, he bonds through shared action, not shared ideas. His loyalty grows from real EX.PE.RIEN.CES, which aligns with tertiary Fe in ESTPs (practical loyalty), not the more idea-driven connection style you’d expect from Ne-doms.
