Original: https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/heroesandvillainsofmbti.tumblr.com/post/111225417519/muppets-kermit-INFP/amp Fi: At his best, Kermit the Frog presents as chill, calm, polite, and even gallantly gracious. He has a high standard of professionalism and always says nice things about his guests. He has a strong desire to make the world a better place by making people happy through singing, dancing, and telling jokes. He appreciates his own uniqueness and specialness, or “Bein’ Green,” a lesson he has to remind himself of from time to time. He also appreciates others’ individuality and quirks, which makes The Muppet Show a haven for the weirdos that work there. He has a strong inner sense of right and wrong, too, and can’t be convinced for anything to work for Doc Hopper’s frog leg restaurants—in fact, he denounces the commercials as the most horrible, despicable thing he’s ever seen. Kermit often finds himself standing up for the group against ruthless villains who would destroy their misfit, makeshift family group. Kermit can often be absorbed in his own concerns and cares, though, causing him to neglect his extroverted girlfriend Miss Piggy. Sometimes he can lash out when others expect too much of him, and deliver withering insults to Miss Piggy and his clingy friends. He can get mopey when things don’t go his way, and burdens himself with guilt when he feels he’s disappointed himself or others. In "The Muppet Movie", he feels that he’s let everyone down after they get stranded in the desert on the way to L.A. He speaks to a mirror image of himself—a perfect picture of an Fi trying to work out a problem within themselves—and at first tries to shrug off his responsibilities by claiming that he never promised anyone they’d reach their dreams. After some reflection, he realizes, “I guess I did promise someone…I promised me.” And he gets back on the road. Kermit is the leader of the Muppets not because he’s a natural commander, but because his inner vision is strong enough for everyone else to follow.

Biography

A banjo-playing amphibian from the Deep South and the show's eternal Straight Man. Upon being discovered in a swamp by a talent agent, he headed to Hollywood, collecting the other Muppets along the way like so many hangers-on. Regularly depicted as the long-suffering ex-boyfriend of Miss Piggy and the equally long-suffering best friend of Fozzie Bear.
