Cassandra MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Cassandra? Cassandra is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/sx - 386 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

She's the best example i could possibly give of a self preservating 3, she wants to achieve cause it gives her a sense of security in her life, we can look at her childhood and see the development of this thought process, being Gothel's daughter she did not get much love and was taught that the way to get approval (which she lacked from her mother) was serving others and doing things she thought would make them proud, while also hiding how she really felt. She has this impression to such a high degree that she is unable to see how much she has really accomplished and how the people around her truly care about and love her. No matter how much effort she puts into things, how often she has proven she is good at something or how many awards she gets, it's never enough to make the feeling of being useless and unworthy of love disappear (something very common in 3s) In Cassandra VS Eugene, when Eugene asks her about her dreams, she says she has no time for such thing, which hints at the fact that her desire to be a royal guard is not what she really wants and is more like a goal she set for herself to impress her father. In "Begginings" we see a rare instance of her thinking about what she really wants and she ends up giving up her opportunity by putting Rapunzel's needs over her own in the end, which due to the sentiment expressed in "Waiting In The Wings" we can assume she has come to regret despite her and Rapunzel now being best friends. In season 2 she is given the mission to look after Rapunzel as her bodyguard, which she takes very seriously because it gives her a feeling of being useful ... to be worth something. But then Rapunzel tells her she does not need someone around to protect her, which makes Cassandra feel rejected and like her purpouse was denied. This is the core conflict of Rapunzel And The Great Tree, Cassandra feels even more rejected when Rapunzel starts focusing so much on Adira and the frustration she feels is put on full display for the show's audience in the musical masterpiece that is Waiting In The Wings. At the end of the episode she gets injured, which makes her job of protecting Rapunzel even harder and thus she becomes even more serious about and focused on it. Overall ... she is very much driven by her shame and a constant fear of being unworthy of love, she is focused on her image, she's ambitious and driven but her setting of personal goals seems to be focused on getting recognition from others. I say she's a 3w4 cause she's more reserved than what a 3w2 would be. She might look like a 6 due to her loyalty, dutifulness and desire for security but self preservating 3s are described as security oriented types (https://www.personalitycafe.com/threads/self-preservation-threes-according-to-beatrice-chestnut.345178/), i also think she has a very strong 6 fix and by the end of the show she's fully integrated into a 6.
