𝟏/𝟐 Patty is a sexual 4. I can see where the E3 votes are coming from, but she is not fueled by Deceit and doesn't really have 3 traits except being image oriented. E4 Trait Structure: → 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐲: Patty's envy is everywhere. She always felt that she lacked something, even when she got skinnier. She didn't feel "skinny" as she also said. The problem was her mentality, she thought everything would be perfect if she was just skinny and attractive but she realised she didn't feel complete this time. She kept envying this version of herself which wouldn't satisfy her in the end, because she subconsciously thinks she lacks something. ❝ Usually, when I looked into the mirror, I could only focus on my flaws. That my stomach wasn't flat enough, my thighs weren't thin enough, my butt wasn't high enough. ❞ → 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞: Patty always hated herself, she was self-pitying and had no self-respect before she lost weight. Not that she gained confidence afterwards, people fed her the attention she craved but she still saw herself as ugly, unworthy of love. ❝ I'm gross. I'm ugly. On the outside and on the inside. I hurt Bob, I hurt you. ❞ ❝ I forgive you! ❞ ❝ No you shouldn't! And he hasn't! ❝ Patty, stop. When you're mad at something, you always decide that you're fat! ❞ ❝ I AM fat, I'm disgusting and fat and awful and I don't deserve to live. ❞ ❝ Stop being mean to my best friend! You're the most beautiful person I've ever met, even before you got thin. ❞ ❝ 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒊𝒕. ❞ → 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: All bad things that happened to her because she couldn't get over how wronged she was by everyone. She had to kill people because she chose to focus on her suffering. She kept playing the victim because she couldn't face that she was a bad person, she kept thinking how wronged she was by everyone, how everyone bullied her and hated her so she kept ruining even more lives and comforted herself by putting herself in the victim role. ❝ YOU are why it is never enough and YOU are why I have this unfillable hole! ❞ → "𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝" 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝚌𝚛𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎, 𝚌𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚏𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚛𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚙𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚙𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚜𝚎𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗, 𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚋𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚕𝚢 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚟𝚎𝚜 𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏-𝚜𝚊𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚑𝚞𝚖𝚋𝚕𝚎, 𝚘𝚋𝚜𝚎𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜, "𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝" Patty tried to sleep with Bob because she felt like he was the only man that ever cared for her. He tried to make her feel good about herself, he was overall trying to be a nice role model because he was also fat once, but she prepared a notebook full of Bob and Patty hearts and love notes, she became all wrapped up with it, she clinged to it as much as she could. She turns her relationship with Bob into a safe space she can do things to be validated from him, so that he can give her the male appreciation she craves. ❝ Bob abandoned me. Today, on the biggest day of my pageant career. He thinks he might have a daughter he never knew about so he's all trying to figure it out. ❞ ❝ Well, you can still win without Bob. ❞ ❝ No, I can't! If I don't win Miss Magic Jesus then Bob won't think that I'm perfect pageant girl and then he'll blow me off! ❞ → 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Patty has always been ruled by her emotions. She's sensitive to her feelings and these matter to her maybe the most. It doesn't matter how selfish it is, she's out of control. It didn't matter to her when everyone told her "The best revenge is a well-lived life." she decided to go and ruin herself over the hatred she felt to everyone. → 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨: She wanted to prove herself to everyone, to everyone who made fun of her and told her she was useless and disgusting. She participated in those pageant shows to be with Bob and she wanted to defeat all those pretty girls, especially the ones in her school, who bullied her. It was the "You thought I couldn't do it huh? I am just as good as you." mentality. Patty shows strong hatred towards hypocrisy throughout the series, she even betrays Bob because of it. Bob always advised Patty to do good things because he was trying to be good figure to her so Patty idealised him and when she found out he was cheating on Coralee with Bob, she outed him without even talking to him about it. She can't stand the idea of people easily betraying their ego and the things they stand by. When Dixie, arguably her biggest bully in school, started to use wheelchair and was making this big speech about how forgiveness was for "strong" people, having the audacity to talk about bullies suck when she bullied Patty for probably her whole high school life. Patty naturally lost it. ❝ Dixie wasn't a victim! She made fun of me when I was fat! She lied about being molested! She was always a lying bitch and now she's a bitch on wheels! ❞
