What personality type is Malcolm Freberg? Malcolm Freberg is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - so/sp - 379 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
Malcolm is a self proclaimed Introvert, something he mentions in most interviews about his Survivor experience and edits. One quote from him (regarding how the TV edits can skew people's perceptions of players) - "It seems to surprise people when I explain that I'm aggressively introverted". He's also a professional writer who lives a very nomadic life, working remotely, and traveling all over the world. So I can see how it's entirely possible he's an INTP. I think a couple other commenters made good points though when they mentioned how Ne doms often think of themselves as introverts, especially someone like Malcolm who has such a rich and deep internal world. I also have to say, as an INTJ whose work has often had me in very socially demanding roles (mediation and social sciences), coworkers and casual friends are always shocked when they find out I'm an introvert. Unless they live with me, or know me very well personally, they always think I'm an extrovert just due to my social skill and how well I can 'put on an extrovert mask' when necessary. But man it sucks the energy right out of me, and some social situations are more or less draining than others. 🤷♀️ I'd be very curious to see the results if he were ever actually professionally typed.
