Last week I watched for the first time some interviews with Pique to find out his personality type. He is clearly extroverted, comes across as optimistic, funny, outgoing, spontaneous, loves challenges and is very direct (not a wordsmith or eloquent). My first impression was also that he is not very bright. The most insightful was what he had to say about the cheating scandal. During one interview he literally said: "The issues that I've been through since last year with my ex-partner being Latin America... I mean, you don't know what I've come to receive on social media from her people who are her fans, but damn I don't care about any of it really. It's zero, zero because I don't know any of them. These are people who don't care about you, and they are there but have no life. And what importance do they have? That's zero. You will never meet them in your life, they are robots. I treat it like it is, you know?" To make a long story short: he is thick as a brick. He feels just sorry for himself but he obviously doesn't feel sorry for his wife or kids. He doesn't seem to connect his behavior with the fan's reaction and public outcry*. He comes across as mentally childish and very immature. Someone who immediately feels offended by criticism and becomes quickly defensive and then rationalizes his behavior. (*Yes, affairs happen but have at least some decency. Ideally, you already know before the cheating happens that something in your marriage or relationship is off and you can address it. If not, be honest with your partner and have them somewhere else, not in the place where your wife and kids live).
