Josh MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Josh? Josh is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sp/so - 946 in Enneagram, RLUAN in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Why would he be a Fe user? Because he wants peace? This is his inner value; he is guided by that the whole game. He seeks external harmony of course, because his peace seeks that (type 9 influences that as well), but his priority is his own internal harmony, to follow his values. He doesn’t want to accept any other ways to achieve Jericho’s goals besides follow his peaceful path. Josh sticks with his values even if it means to disturb the balance in the group, just look at him, North and Markus. Whenever North confronts him about his way of dealing with things he gets really passive-aggressive. Like North, he wants a revolution in his own way and he can't see any other possibilities to reach this objective (Fi-Ni). Yet, Josh is very calm, passive and idealistic, avoiding big confrontations with others (type 9), so he puts his hopes on the revolution on Markus, believing he would follow the same path he would. But when Markus disagrees with him, he gets really mad at him for not following his values, it doesn’t matter what you do, if it is against his beliefs, Josh will be irritated with that decision. He's reactive when people judge or don't agree with his ideals of a peaceful revolution (his inferior Te jumps every time). Josh has concrete ways of expressing his ideals (FiSe) to reach his goal (Ni). He's ready to die and to let everyone die if it goes along with his values (example: on the Freedom March scene). But if it's the other way around (anything that isn't what he believes as right) Josh speaks on not letting anyone get killed and how they should avoid conflict and war (type 9), criticizing Markus' and North's choices, a common trait of a Fi dom when unhealthy or stressed (“my views/opinions/values are the right ones, yours are wrong”). Josh overall isn’t an unhealthy Fi, but sometimes he exceeds himself and ignore facts to make himself comfortable with his views (for instance: when Josh still wants to pursue a peaceful path even if humans are destroying them, there’s no logical explanation why he should continue to be peaceful, but for him it’s just the right thing to do). He values peace at extreme, which doesn’t make him a Fe user, because he is willing to disturb any external harmony to stand up to his ideals (so he can reach inner harmony – Fi).
