Biography
Wendy Spector is the mother of Marc Spector, the protagonist of the 2022 MCU miniseries 'Moon Knight', and Randall Spector, Marc's younger brother. After an unfortunate accident, Randall dies when he and Marc were still children and grief-stricken and traumatized by this, Wendy gradually loses her mental health and sanity, eventually blaming it on her older son Marc for deliberately killing him out of spite and jealousy. Her resentment towards Marc grows to the point she becomes extremely abusive - both physical as well as emotional towards him and this ends up with him developing 'Dissassociative Identity Disorder (DID)', where he creates the personas of 'Steven Grant' (modelled after his childhood hero) and the mysterious 'Jake Lockley', in order to cope with the abuse. Losing her younger son also made her turn into an alcoholic and as a result, she became extremely neglectful and aloof with her parental responsibilities towards Marc.
