MARINA IS SX2, NOT SX4 the whole marina character's revolve around her relationship with her mom. WHY SHE IS AN SX AND NOT SO OR SP i think its pretty obvious, she's a one to one instinct dominant. she focuses on her mom and trying to be better for her mom . So I'll not state much about this. Why sx2 and not sx4? She lacks the 4 core. "to be special" was not her motive. she wanted to be loved, needed, wanted by her mother. "Sorry! I'll fix that too! I'll be the good girl i was before!" she takes it out on Shizuka so she could feel superior and pleased. (a trait of e2) SX2 can act very aggressive when unhealthy. only when healthy , they act like the kindest out of all. To me, she fits more SX2 motives,traits and vice rather then SX4. idk much though. My mom is sx2 too lolol THE CORE MOTIVE: PRIDE VS. ENVY People think she is SX4 because she is violent toward Shizuka (the main character) and seems "envious" of Shizuka's dog or the attention Shizuka gets. E2 is driven by Pride and the need to be indispensable. Marina’s violence isn’t actually because she wants to be Shizuka or because she feels inherently defective. It's because her mother neglects her, and Marina’s pride cannot handle the idea that she is unlovable. She destroys Shizuka to prove to herself that she is superior, powerful, and worthy. She wants to show everyone else that she's above. "Sorry! I'll fix that too! I'll be the good girl i was before!" —:: An SX4 would blame the mother , wants to be recognised for their unique identity . They rarely say things like "I'll be the good girl" just to fit the image of what SOMEONE ELSE wants. that line feels more 2 . She desperately trying to alter her behavior to satisfy the person she is obsessed with (her mom) so she can earn love. people think that she's sx4 because of her violence towards Shizuka. "If i suffer, you suffer too" this can apply towards some enneageram too. SX2 would mostly lash out after being beaten by their loved one! (speaking from experience...) people mistook her for an e4 or e8 because most e2 would likely lean towards 4 or 8 when they are under stress.
