Disregard what I said-- I realized she is ISTJ. I said she is an absolute stereotype of INTJ-- that's the problem. That doesn't exist. After realizing that, I looked more into it. What it is, is that she is what you might call a "wanna-be INTJ." She took that bad test probably when it first popped up back in 2011 when she was a kid, and got INTJ, and I suppose she's trying to live up to that. But she's ISTJ, and this is my analysis of why: 1. She has extreme Si-- Why I never thought of that is beyond me. In an interview, she said that she is very good at sorting things in her mind and choosing what is important and what isn't, saying that she'd make a good detective. This is true. In podcasts, she also mentions her experiences, picking from them what is necessary. Looking at how she operates, I agree with her 100%. She is shown to be incredibly orderly and intelligent,-- however, (and, yes, I'm going to get some hate for saying this), she does not create-- she copies. She looks at what others do and mimics it-- she copied her art, her statement, even her style of directing from others. She takes what she needs to and replicates it. She even copies her behavior from what she thinks an INTJ is. There is no nuance. But I'm being blunt here. 2. Te-- She loves to be efficient. Just look at the reports circled about Titanic's last performance, and how she took care of the situation which ensued it (i.e., the suicide attempt). But besides that, she actually explained her creating process, saying that she makes things not for the creative aspect, but to get it done. She doesn't care if it has no soul or heart, she just creates one thing a day, and if it makes sense to send out and it's not so very bad, that's what she does In fact, in an interview, Titanic even said one reason why he admires her so much is because of her amazing work-ethic. Not only that, but contrary to what is commonly thought, it was actually her idea for her and Titanic to work together! They were both friends of friends, until an incident occurred which threw them closer together, with her being about 21 and him 28. She saw that he was a good director/ musician, and was aware that she was talented singer, and both of them creative, charming people, so she said that maybe they could find something to do between them; and one thing led to another, and Poppy Eats Cotton Candy was uploaded. In a way, people still don't give Poppy enough credit; she really did pull everything together. There's a reason why the Poppy project and not the Mars Argo project succeeded. He could not have done all that without her Si-Te, two of the things he lacked. In fact, people like to say he manipulated Poppy into making a statement for him-- I don't believe that. There is proof of her actually taking over conversations and the like because she thinks she can do it better than him, which, again, screams Te to me. And when she doesn't, in public, it is because she does not like speaking, and thus makes Titanic do it for her-- he's not controlling her or anything-- she's just introverted, and when she wants him to do something, he tends to do it. As another example, on a podcast, the two were talking about making Bloodmoney, and Titanic said he only makes things when he's inspired, unlike Poppy, who does it no matter what, which on this occasion drove her in her ineffable tenacity to force him into using his synthesizer already. Anyway, not only that, but they, or at least he, was told by an attorney not to speak up about the allegations; yet she clearly had a strong belief in herself, and did it anyway. Again: I consider that an incredible Si-Te grip. On a site that I think is trustworthy, it describes Te thus: "[People with it] are more concerned about moving forward than they are about it being the perfect solution. Because Te is the primary external function, it is usually the first thing other people will notice about SiTe’s." Need I say more? 3. Fi--lol I think most people agree on this one, but if you need me to explain more in depth, I will! Now, of course, I could be wrong,--but, tbh, I don't think I am. I know several ISTJs and they act just like her. But, hey, calling out all INTJs, it'd be cool if you can come over and tell me if you picked this up, too-- you know, that she just acts like an exaggeration of you guys. NOTE: I also put in a vote & essay on Titanic's personality page, so it'd be cool if someone here could check it out! EDIT: lol I can't believe ISFP is coming so close! Please, people, she is clearly not ISFP. I'd rather you vote INTJ than let ISFP win.

In 2014, she rose to prominence by starring in sometimes unsettling performance art videos directed by Titanic Sinclair that presented her as an uncanny valley-like android entity who commented on and satirised internet culture and modern society. The videos achieved viral fame. In 2017, Poppy signed to Mad Decent and released her debut studio album, Poppy.Computer, which consisted of art pop and bubblegum pop songs. In 2020, Poppy left her creative director and released her third studio album, I Disagree, through Sumerian Records, shifting her style away from pop to a sound incorporating heavy metal and industrial music.
