I've heard that this isn't the most accurate of representations, and perhaps the real Oystein was ISTP, but this portrayal basically BLEEDS* type 3 and te-dom. Yes he has the edgy adolescent veneer of a high fi 4, but almost all his actions are rationalized as ways of maintaining his image, and acheiving his goal of creating THE most dark, evil band in Norway. He's completely out of touch with his personal emotions and values, though we do see that inferior fi biting him in the ass at times. Varg (a sexual 6 imo, both in the movie and real life) also shows a lot of 3-ish behaviours, but has far higher fi, prioritises having a cause or ideology, and is disgusted by Oystein's perceived phoniness. I thought the clash between beta/gamma values plays out in their relationship. * I mean....literally. who tf is like 'hey, just think what a great marketing opportunity this could be?' when they've just been ******* stabbed....
