What personality type is Oliver Bearman? Oliver Bearman is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - - 471 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.

I watched a few interviews on YouTube to try to type him and : When one interview asked him "what would you share with people about how you make really quick decisions?" Ollie replied : "a lot of it comes from experience blah blah blah (he's a yapper), but trusting your gut is something that I tend to go with." This is funny because he really compared Si and Ni and eventually said he's more likely to go with his gut thus use internal intuition. The dude then asked him about his feelings on getting a seat, and finally becoming an F1 driver, Ollie replied to that : "for any team to put their trust in you, it's a proud feeling [...]" He immediately talked about the team and how thankful he is, when asked about his feelings on accomplishing his dream. After the quote he continued talking about the team and even thanked them for choosing a rookie when they could've chosen an experienced driver. In another interview, Ollie talks with a little boy and is able to immediately match the kid's energy, while staying polite and professional. He actually started interviewing the kid back, with genuine interest. This whole interview screamed Fe dominant to me. The kid asked him about his first thoughts about becoming an F1 driver, when it happened and how long has he known, Ollie replied that his dad and grandpa were drivers, and then proceeded to tell how when he watched his first race, he liked everything about it: the noise of the car, the smell of tyres, etc (I don't remember the exact descrition but it was very descriptive). This is obviously the sign of an sensing function, whether it's Si or Se. Overall I agree with the ENFJ concensus, I really think he uses a good amount of Fe and Ni, and his sport requires him to use Se too. Another thing I've noticed is how when explaining his process of making quick decision, he said he'd trouble not second guessing himself and has learned to just let go and trust his gut. As an ESFJ, I so relate to this! Inferior Ti is a real pain in the ass, and seeing Ollie struggle with it makes me feel a bit better as we are of the same age.

Biography

Oliver James Bearman (born 8 May 2005) is a British racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship for Prema Racing. He was the 2021 Italian and ADAC Formula 4 champion and is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. He is currently the reserve driver for Haas F1 Team in Formula One.
