What personality type is Jo Yi Seo? Jo Yi Seo is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/sp - 835 in Enneagram, SLOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Spoilers ahead Very clearly an ENTJ in my books. Not sure where the ENTP conclusions came from, but it's clear she operates on a Te-Fi axis. Even her dialogue is very Te-Fi, in which she's often talking about her feelings, how confused she is by them at times, the discovery of her desires and what she wants in life. She starts off as a very immature ENTJ. Obviously she has strong Te, because she's focused on the organization of information around her and how she can use it to benefit her goals in the long term. This was why she was a clear asset of DanBam in the beginning, because she was able to see what needed to be done in order to succeed unlike the other members who were more present minded and tended not to have the experience she had. Not only that, but she's also very strategic and tended to go after what she wanted without hesitating a bit. Easy for her to change plans in life all of the sudden and focus all of her energy into one singular goal. She could even change her plans to fit the goal she wanted, which shows a sense of higher Se and Ni. Seemed to be more engaged in the present opportunities provided to her rather than the multiple possibilities of something that could happen. As the series progresses though, we see the development of her Fi. As she gets to know the members of DanBam, she creates a moralistic compass for herself and decides to pay more attention to the moral implications around her, and how they affected the people she cared for. This character, does not really care about how others may think about her. In fact, this is her greatest weakness because she's so focused on what she wants that she forgets how other people are going to be affected by her actions. Once she realizes this of course, she becomes a lot better and more authentic to the people around her.
Biography
Manager of Sae-ro-yi's bar-restaurant DanBam. Yi-seo is a multi-talented and intelligent girl with an IQ of 162. She moved from New York to continue her studies in South Korea. She is also famous on social media as a power blogger and social media internet celebrity. Having a crush on Sae-ro-yi, she offers to become the manager of DanBam. Her lack of empathy and callous behavior has many people believe she is a sociopath, but she does end up caring for her DanBam coworkers. She especially has a breakthrough with Hyeon-yi after initially criticizing her cooking and believing her transgender identity would impede DanBam's business. Despite being declined by Sae-ro-yi, Yi-seo remains by his side as DanBam's manager. In 2020, Yi-seo becomes the CFO of Sae-ro-yi's company IC Group. Eventually, Sae-ro-yi realizes his feelings for Yi-seo and he confesses his love for her.
