What personality type is Alexis Kaye (Punchline)? Alexis Kaye (Punchline) is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.

After reading her origin story, I'm going with INTJ. Her desire to find meaning and patterns in the Joker's crimes screams Ni, and her almost single-minded approach to put her plans into motion, e.g. visiting places relevant to the Joker to gather evidence/material for her podcast, experimenting with her own Joker venom and testing it on innocent people screams Te. I don't see where the ISTP votes are coming from other than the "scary intimidating badass woman = ISTP" stereotype. I don't see Ti at all, but I do see Fi, which I will address next. I leaned towards INTJ than ENTJ because she's ideologically driven, her admiration of Joker because his principles and methods fits into her twisted worldview is Fi at work. We could also argue the inferior Se as her tendency to turn a blind eye on the concrete, tangible, and sensory evidence of the Joker's atrocities, and later her own. The writers did a good job at writing a foil to Harley Quinn with her. I think it's pretty interesting how her personality type seems to be a foil to Harley's ENFP, and how it's a shadow/complement to Joker's ENTP. No doubt, the Joker is a narcissistic abuser who will probably discard her as he did with Harley sooner or later, but I can see why he seems to respect Punchline more than her predecessor. With Punchline, he has someone carrying out his will because they believe in the same things, with Harley, he has someone carrying out his will out of her personal affections for him. Punchline is motivated to understand his *ideology*, the methods to his madness, and how he sees the world, Harley's motivation is to figure him out for who he is and how to get him to reciprocate her love.

Biography

Punchline is a supervillain introduced in DC Rebirth. Created as the henchwoman to the Joker following his falling out with Harley Quinn, she serves as his underboss and partner in crime to the Clown Prince of Crime. Unlike Harley Quinn, Punchline is a very cold and sadistic character.
