What personality type is Katharine Clifton? Katharine Clifton is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sx - in Enneagram, in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
She's not as fully developed in the movie as in the book, so I'll use the book to fill the gaps. First, it is fairly clear that she values Fe and Se in socionics. She is theatrical and grand in her emotional expression, but seldom expresses her personal attitudes toward others. She wants to keep the peace and keep the group together, and so she ultimately chooses to end the affair. Between her and Almasy (ILI? IEI?), she is the one with more social tact. Se is clearer in the book than in the movie. She is not shy about using force; indeed, the book states that she frequently hits or even stabs Almasy when angered. At the same time, she doesn't have the "heavy" presence of an SEE, and she sees the world in a very Ni fashion. EIE.
