Personality

What personality type is The Mighty Monarch? The Mighty Monarch is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - sx/sp - 287 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

Unlike Dr. Mrs. The Monarch (ISTJ) who plays by the book and is almost always well-prepared for anything life throws her way, The Monarch has a very poor judgment when it comes to calculating risks and planning things through, especially when he isn't passionate about the thing he has to do. His Ne-Te axis really shines through when he's dealing with the thing he's passionate about (arching Dr. Venture is the biggest example of this, but there are many other instances where this comes up), with him instantly coming up with a plethora of solid ideas and plans to convey his hatred. He puts extra special value on his identity and can be seen feeling trapped when he's forced to play by someone else's rules (The Guild, in his case), which is something more aligned with higher Fi presence. His Si is mostly unused, which can easily be seen with his lacking attention to detail when it comes to things he's not particularly interested in and has an overall horrible memory recollection, especially when it comes to taking past mistakes and experiences as a guideline to improve himself. One of the biggest examples of this forgetfulness towards things that he lacks interest in is when he fails to recall Henchman 21's real name being Gary on multiple occasions despite having known him for years and him being his most permanent henchman. Him being core 2 makes the most sense as he gets really frustrated and even destructive (and self-destructive) when he doesn't get enough attention from the people he puts value into (Dr. Mrs. The Monarch and Dr. Venture, on the two extremes of The Monarch's positive and negative value scale), suggesting a very strong 2 to 8 disintegration. His positive 2 traits can be seen in his positive interactions with Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, with him acting very accommodating and caring towards her in the same vein that she does for him. (They aren't called the healthiest relationship on the show for nothing.)
