Ni Leah doesn’t act impulsively instead she thinks several steps ahead of her despite her vulnerable position. She manipulates her circumstances o ensure the safety of those close to her and Ishakan. In the novel where we get more in depth of her character, she makes decisions based on her deep understanding of people and their motivations. She carefully calculates her actions and doesn’t rebel recklessly but waits for the perfect moment to act. She plans meticulously which includes the risks and potential consequences. She knows the best thing to do that is to marry that prick (Byun Gyeonbaek) despite suffering in his hands and her stepmother to ensure that Ishakan isn’t harm and for stepmother/brother not to take control of Estia.
