Might contain spoilers for those who want to read the books He always strikes me as someone INTJ 7w8. He is grown up and seen misery. And when he had a chance to escape Apatros and joined the Gloom Walkers he was happier than most. What he did in that time frame was to consume any knowledge he can come across about life of soldier and was innately curious. When he was taken to the Sith his curiousity and his patience and ability to focus on a single thing for hours on end (which came from his time in the Apatros mines) gave him an advantage over all his colleagues in the academy in the long run. He was still a student at that time and it helped little with his Sith training but it helped him to shape his stance about the Brotherhood of Darkness. I understand E5 votes i truly do. But Bane isnt somebody to frown and turn a blind eye on an opportunity where an E5 might have. The difference being what E5 would consider an opportunity and what E7 would. E5 has a much grimmer understanding of life and perhaps much inadaptable at that. Bane has a much more realistic understanding of life and didnt had any reservations about changing any of his career paths.
