What personality type is Young Neil? Young Neil is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/sp - 947 in Enneagram, RCUAN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
ISFP fits way more than INFP. he shows no Ne, he's not even remotely curious or thoughtful about the script written by his "sleep paralysis demon", he just accepts everything as it is and seems to pretty much live in the moment. edit: to add more to my reasoning i'd like to say I get that he’s an INFP in the film and comics, but he’s much more air headed and simple in the show. Not that INFPs can’t be air headed or simple, but he demonstrates absolutely no Ne, and is straightforward and easygoing in the way that high Se users tend to be. Remember when his “sleep paralysis demon” wrote out an entire script for him, and he just went along with it without questioning it at all? It’s easy for high Se users to accept things as they are, they tend to lack a certain curiousity that drives us NPs. I very much doubt any high Ne user would just accept the outcome in the same way as Neil does here, they’d probably be confused, shocked, and have an abundance of questions. Neil doesn’t give it much thought and is satisfied by his own immediate explanation, because it just makes sense to him and that’s enough. this rendition of young neil just wants to ride his little kart around and have a good time it seems :D
