Samur Maykr was originally a Seraph who dutifully served The Father and was responsible for administrating worlds, studied divine experiments, and reported progress in all creation. Samur was the Seraphim that helped Doomguy by granting him celestial power and making him 'The Doom Slayer.' In the Doom Eternal DLC: 'The Ancient Gods, Part 1' Samur is eventually revealed to be the true identity of Dr Samuel Hayden. Samur implanted his consciousness into a cloned human body and created the identity of Dr Samuel Hayden. Acting on the Father's mission, Samur acknowledged humanity will eventually discover the power of Argent Energy on their own and he secretly guided them by gaining the leadership position of the UAC to control Argent Energy and avoid a potentially worse outcome for humanity if it was misused.
