What personality type is Kaname Sudou? Kaname Sudou is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - so/sp - 136 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
I understand where people would get 6w7 from (i actually think he could be 7w6 second fix based off of xuelan’s psychoanalysis) but from the standpoint of the manga (and the last episode of the anime), he’s pretty 1-ish He go his ideals onto others in order to end Darwin’s Game, only using violence to prevent greater harm but completely unafraid to do so. The things that he finds to be “right” seem to be an unbreakable code even when breaking his own rules he’s set for himself would directly benefit him (e.g. committing himself to not killing Xuelan off of principle). His anger is typically repressed and he falls back into his ╰(*´︶`*)╯demeanor but tends to either slip through snide comments or explode depending on the subject. Kaname is an interesting protag, especially compared to others in “trapped in a game” anime like this, and the anime did him dirty :’v
Biography
Kaname gained access to Darwin's Game upon getting an SMS from his friend Kyoda, who was desperately looking for help during his current battle. While Kaname quickly learned that his curiosity regarding the game led him into dangerous situations, he began to adapt and learned to use his quick thinking and determination to progress. His Sigil is the Fire God's Hammer, an extremely rare ability that allows him to recreate any item. Due to being the winner of the Shibuya Treasure Hunt event, he managed to obtain a winner's privilege called High Roller, which allows him to bet more than the usual points on a game battle and force his or his clan's opponents to match it, up to the limit of either's total points at the time.
