I like to call myself “socially introverted” because I don’t do “small talk.” Because of this, some of the more obnoxious extroverts wonder why I’m quiet around them. Now, it’s normally obvious I’m an extrovert when everyone is scared to speak because I’m always the first one to break awkward silence and start a conversation. I’m not afraid to talk. I just sometimes don’t care to. If I’m speaking to you, I have a goal in mind. The most often goals: -To befriend you, because you seem worth my time (and if I’m not speaking to you and I’ve known you awhile, I probably don’t think you’re worth my time… sorry to put it so bluntly, but it’s more often than not true) -To help you to grow >This takes the form of small talk sometimes when I feel like people need to know that someone cares and loves them >It also takes the form of teaching and “my many advices,” as my friends like to say -To honor and obey my authority in some way; either by answering a question or letting them know I’ve done what they’ve asked -To not come off as “too cold,” as some people get that impression bc of my RBF and “no-off-button-teaching-mode” lol… though, I’ve tried to input more empathy into my teaching mode so others don’t get the impression that I just do all that because I like bossing them around lol Other than that, I’m comfortable doing whatever I’m doing in silence. No reason to speak, so I won’t.
Biography
Quietness among Extroverts is in a way a rarity on its own. A personality such as this can be rather intimidating and intense. These characters tend to make the best leaders, as they show the outgoing determination to succeed but will also sit down and listen when it's essential. Perhaps the most defining trait for these Extroverts, is their strong, valiant sense of pride that brings the group together.
