What personality type is Colin Cowherd? Colin Cowherd is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - so/sp - 137 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
He does switch opinions, but I'm an INTJ and so do I. Colin just so happens to have a job where you hear his opinions constantly, whereas you won't get that with many ENTJs and hardly any INTJs. With sports, we will switch according to new data/info, and we get new data/info on a weekly basis, if not more often. He's obviously very future-oriented, and there's a video from Joy Taylor on YouTube talking about how he prepares for his show that really rings true with me, as well--very organized, very prepared, planning, making sure he knows what he's talking about, etc, to the point where I wondered how he feels when breaking news happens or the show otherwise has to go off-plan for some reason (though it's not like with MSNBC or CNN, for example, where it completely derails shows--I am not sure he'd be able to do this, and neither would I). He also draws lots of parallels, even to topics that really have nothing to do with sports--very much an "it's like..." person, i.e. similes and metaphor-ish to seemingly unrelated things to explain his thoughts and observations. He sees lots of connections other people don't and makes interesting, unique observations. He puts intelligence, forward thinking, quality and competence on a pedestal, like a lot of INTJs and ENTJs do. He's the only sports person I've listened to for years and years, and it's because I really relate to how he thinks and how he makes his points.
