edit : my first argument was pretty much nonsense but I was new to the whole mbti thing. I still think he’s a INFP tho. the whole mister K situation proves pretty obviously his use of Fi as a dominant function. there was logically and rationally no good reason to trust him, but yet Fideo still decided to trust him and even let him lead his team in the match against England and Japan, even though his whole team didn’t want to. shows pretty much how Fideo related to Kageyama trough they shared love of football and used it as a confirmation of “his good side”. he doesn’t clearly say that mister K is a good person but the whole “he loves football more than anything, and I love football more than anything so he has to be good on the inside” screams Fi in the sense where he doesn’t approach the situation with objectivity or empathy but with some sort of relating to his own situation. he also obviously has trouble with externalising his thoughts and feelings, which leads to conflicts with his own team, which I think is a perfect example of how different he is from Endou (ENFJ) and how Endou actually helped him gaining back the trust of his teammates in episode 92. endou has no problem with externalising his thoughts and his love and understanding of people, he explains it to the Italian Team and actually convinces them to play with him because of that. Fideo on the other hand struggles as a captain because he can’t convince his teammates to follow Kageyama’s orders because he himself is not capable of explaining how or why he thinks this way. (+ in episode 104 he explains that he himself doesn’t know why he trusts mister K, just that he knows and does, regardless of what Inazuma Japan has told him (no objective empathic analysis of his environment like Endou))
