What personality type is Mincheol? Mincheol is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/so - 486 in Enneagram, in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
This guy's morals are all over the place. ISFP votes, where you at? He’s basically the definition of an ESTP—He’s quick to act, often driven by external stimuli, and tends to focus on immediate satisfaction. However Mincheol’s pattern of acting quickly, based on external circumstances (like stress and debt), is indeed fitting the general Se profile. He's mainly focused on physical sensations and seems to rely on his Ti-Fe pretty much all the time. Like when he begged Ari and pretended he was gonna break up with her for her own good, but in reality, he was just using her as a safe spot until Haesoo chilled out ( a clear Ti-Fe—analyzing the situation with Ti and using Fe to figure out how people around him will behave, so he can take advantage of it). He literally can't take Ari seriously; he's just enjoying her body to spare the time without any real emotional connection, Mincheol not thinking through long-term consequences, it aligns with someone whose Ni is underdeveloped or suppressed. If Ni were fully integrated, Mincheol might have a stronger sense of long-term emotional or relational consequences. But since his Ni is likely inferior or under stress, he can’t fully grasp how his choices will impact the future, which results in impulsive decisions based more on immediate, logical justifications (such as satisfying himself now) rather than a deeper emotional consideration. Or when he observed Haesoo (Ti-Fe) and expected her not to be able to live without him, knowing how far she’d go for his sake. He reads way too much into her, knows how she feels about him, and enjoys teasing her to see her reaction—such as when she got mad at him, he was excited to see a new reaction from her (very Fe-tertiary behavior). Even in the past, during high school, he used Se-Ti-Fe, like when his friends told him Haesoo was walking with random girls, he immediately assumed they were up to something and planning to bully her because they were probably into him. Then, after analyzing it, he figured they’d tell older guys about him, and he’d end up getting beaten up ( solid Se-Ti-Fe process ). Regarding his Te being inferior, where is it? All I can see is a clear Ni inferior in this guy, the Ni inf doesn’t allow for long-term foresight or a clear vision of where things are headed, which can definitely trip him up when he faces complex, future-oriented decisions. He might be focused on the immediate issue—like the debt or emotional turmoil—but without that strong Ni clarity, he can easily miss the bigger picture or how his decisions will impact the future. In this scenario, he could be acting out of a desire to resolve things quickly without fully understanding or foreseeing the long-term consequences. His impulse to act in the present moment—whether to seek emotional reassurance or take quick, practical steps—might be driven by stress, but also a lack of insight into how those actions will unfold. With Ni inferior, he could even become anxious or frustrated because he can't "see" the future clearly, and that anxiety can sometimes lead to poor decision-making or an over-focus on immediate gratification, rather than planning ahead. So, it’s not just about Te inferior leading him to miss logical reasoning—it’s about the tension between his dominant Se (which pushes him to live in the moment and take action) and his weaker Ni (which prevents him from grasping the long-term implications). There are plenty of other examples but these one’s enough to rule out the ISFP possibility—it’s nonsense, he can’t even admit his emotions or figure out his purpose in life, and yet you guys want to make him Fi dom? If y’all are really desperate to make him a feeler at least vote ESFP-it makes more sense. I really shouldn’t have to explain anything since he’s pretty obvious, but well, these are just simple examples—so get back to your senses.
