Robert Irvine MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Robert Irvine? Robert Irvine is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - - in Enneagram, SCOEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
I’ve only seen him on his show Restaurant: Impossible, but judging by all the many times I’ve seen him on that show, I feel certain that he’s an ESTJ. Te: He never feels nervous about saying what’s on his mind, even if it could potentially end up hurting the feelings of the restaurant owner(s)/staff. When he walks into the restaurant for the first time, tries the food for the first time, etc, he says what he thinks is logical in order to get them to succeed as a business in the long run. He also has no problem turning down ideas, that he thinks are harmful to the reestablishment of the restaurant. Si: In every episode of Restaurant: Impossible he follows through with the same approach. He starts by critiquing the interior design of the restaurant, interviewing the owner(s), observing their service, trying their food, inviting interior designers to help out, helping out with relational/financial issues (if necessary), teaching them how to cook the food properly, and then the restaurant reopens after that. He uses this approach, because he knows that it has been effective for him in the past. Ne: His Si and Ne are shown working together when he tries the restaurant’s food for the first time. His Si is shown in that scenario since he does it routinely, but since he’s also trying a selection of new menu items each time, that shows his Ne. Another instance where his Ne is shown is when he at times creates interactive/hands on games for the restaurant’s owner(s)/staff, as a way to help them work out issues. Fi: His Fi is consistently referenced in how he values fixing the struggling restaurant, and seeing it flourish in the long run.
