What personality type is Competent? Competent is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 513 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
Assuming we are talking about general competence I think ISTJs take the trophy. From my experience during class, compared to INTJs they put in more work. They list all of their tasks on paper and finish them with extra time. If they are given the chance to volunteer for extra work they are guaranteed to do it. Of course this is generalization and they're not 24/7 the workaholic maniac. But I can't deny they are the "competent" backbone of many of our systems.
