What personality type is Hiyori Shiina? Hiyori Shiina is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/so - 592 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
Hiyori is most likely an Introvert although she knows how to talk to people and values harmony while also capable of being logical when she needs to be (Fe - Ti) , from every action she takes and most importantly her reasons we can see that she uses a lot of Fe, making her a high Fe user so most likely an XXFJ. INFJs are balanced when it comes to feelings and thinking, meaning that we prioritise people most of the time but when needs be we can be objective, cold and cruel (Like Ibuki remarked). INTPs on the other hand prioritise logical consistency and objective truth, while their inferior Fe makes them unaware of their feelings sometimes (while hiyori is okay being alone she feels lonely and wants to make friends, an INTP would probably not notice that and be fine with being alone). Her having her books with her is a sign of Ni-Fe, she wants to meet new people so she anticipates that, not having enough information to predict the future the best course of action is to have them with her at all times (I have with me drawing utensils no matter where i go in case i need them, and my umbrella is always with me even if it seems to be a sunny day just in case). At the class vote special exam, we find out that she values how Ryuuen thinks, and thinking about what is best for the class in the long run (Ni-Fe) she judged that he was necessary (Ti) and agreed to the plan Kiyotaka made. Her being able to make a good mood and dissipate the awkward atmosphere is also a sign of high Fe, as INTPs are a little awkwardish in their conversations. INFJs (and hiyori) are usually minding their words and formulating their sentences with the other person in mind, the only moment you will see them blunt and saying their mind is if they have being asked for it by someone they trust will not judge them and will not be offended. Finally we can see hiyori being a pacifist , but when she takes actions she thinks of the far future , and she also understands Ryuuen even if she doesn't always agree to his way of doing things (Ni-Fe-Ti). (and on a more feelings note, hiyori is almost a copy of me and my thought process... I think anyone who has an INFJ in their life would be able to tell at a glance that she's one too, and she resembles Ichinose a little in her train of thoughts, ENFJ/INFJ differences and similarities can be seing in the way they interact with people)
