To anyone who’s read “TRUMP” manga… you know he’s unhinged, right? Like, i’m still reading, but this boy. Oh. He’s totally insane. [MANGA SPOILERS PT.1] . . . So i’m not gonna say i’m 100% sure Angelico is ISFP, it’s just that he’s so complex and we have absolutely no idea what happened to him in childhood to teenage years to make him the way he is. Let’s hope it’ll be revealed in anime, since its a prequel to manga… But, in my opinion, he’s either a traumatized Fi-dom with his own ideas about “pride and honor” or a very arrogant Fe-dom who confuses love with control. Besides, we only see him as a child and in his cocoon phase, which was recently introduced in series. It’s basically puberty for vampires, but more damaging for their physical and psychological health. What we see about Angelico is that he’s very different from his father, cunning and dangerous, with twisted morals. He cares about being “pureblood” too much. I thought at first he would be more calm and collected, but no, and it seems to me that his dominant function is most likely irrational. So in manga at some point he bites others to take their “initiative” and control them, then stages everything as if they’re his friends. Angelico also reveals that he plans to bite everyone in this private school their studying: “After all, everyone in this clan will become my friend sooner or later”. Quite ambitious and rebellious because he challenges the status quo. He makes others fight for him to get rid of dhampir (who is main character, also a child of human and vampire which makes him disgusting to purebloods). Angelico thinks highly of himself and his pridefulness prevents him from keeping his sanity. He also tends to keep a "mask" in front of others and this allows him to deceive people by misleading them. I wouldn't be surprised if the author actually described him as a narcissist since he shares too many traits with actual disorder. From his desire to be the centre of attention and "the superior vampire" to his hatred of those who make him feel inferior. To Angelico, everyone is fools who can be dealt easily. It’s not completely untrue: even if he’s not the strongest, he still has power and respect of others. To them he is “the lord”. He’s well known in the clan and obviously can be charming when he wants. Inferior Te-function also suits him. Angelico only thinks he understands how to succeed and create the perfect plan which would solve all problems, but in reality, just as soon as he does, he gets caught up in his own worries. He's not the kind of guy who can take criticism and keep it cool. No, he’s the drama and he doesn’t need better solution since he is already superior. And what’s interesting about Angelico’s character, is that we can actually understand his anxiety and loneliness. It doesn’t matter how many “friends” he’ll get if he’s still alone and misunderstood till the very end. Like, yea, he’s using wrong methods and acting insane, but after all, you can’t make me hate him for wanting to be perfect, loved and appreciated by everyone. It’s mostly his father fault to be fair… One of Angelico’s goals is to seize power and dominate this clan as its ruler. But why attacking a random dhampir all of a sudden? Well, his true goal is actually Raphael Delico… whose brother Ul is friends with this dhampir. They both have complex relationships. One hates another, and this hate takes place deep in the past. About that, Angelico says: “I need to make him regret mocking me. He’ll pay for underestimating me. And to do that, I need to make Ul my friend.” There’s no rationality here, okay. You can tell what he actually means by this words… He probably planned to take his “initiative”. But Angelico is so arrogant that he doesn’t even want to deal with “a filthy dhampir”. So the easiest solution is to get rid of him and stage it as an accident. And the best way is to make Ul do it. So not only he wants to destroy them, he would also like some emotional suffering, please. According to our sweet Angelico, dhampir deserves death simply because he is unworthy… His ideal world is one in which harmony reigns, where he is respected and where there are no unworthy ones. It seems very Fi-dom to me, honestly. Unhealthy, but still. In the middle of the fight, Ul is too scared of Angelico to actually resist him, and we can see the way he reacts, asking why would brother of Raphael be scared. Idk, maybe because you have completely lost your mind?? He acts as if he wants only the best to his friends, but Ul is not one of them yet. And mind that Angelico’s hatred for him also connected with Delico’s name since they’re both pureblood families, full of powerful and prideful vampires. Yet only Fra thinks he is worthy of this legacy. At this moment Raphael comes in to protect his younger brother. We see how two different perspectives clashes: one is ready to give everything for his family, the other thinks of himself first.
