My ISFJ ex-friend was a straight-up nightmare and, here's why: I (INTJ) had a friend(ISFJ) for 9 years once. We started off well at first as we both enjoyed doing calm activities as long as there weren't too many people around. Such as going to the cinema and, canoeing we both enjoyed staying at home more than spending a wild night out. But, as time went on she started to act weird When Covid hit we watched more movies at her place instead of going out. (I lived in another city but, worked where she lived so it was more convenient.) We often order take out and, it was fun but, then suddenly she got angry and, acted differently I had no idea as to why. It turned out later that she thought I was only coming to her for the movies and, the take out like what? I can watch movies at home too you know. As for the take-out, we always paid our own share equally. Her behavior continued to increase in a bad way. One time we were chatting together and, we didn't hear something she said but, instead of bringing it up she didn't say anything and, instead stayed quiet. She got mad at me for several things such as being 10 minutes late. (I was lost on the way and, did call her to tell her that.) Me not respond to a text she sent me for 2 days straight. (I couldn't as I was busy in the middle of a work week and, I was working on an urgent project.) I eventually had to end our friendship because she got mad at me for wanting to meet up with one of our common friends without telling her. (She thought I was going to steal her away from her because some girl at her high school had done so in the past.) At that point, I was more than done with her controlling behavior.
