What personality type is Jung Sana? Jung Sana is an personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/sx - 368 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
I'm honestly really surprised by the typing on this profile, I'm not against ENTP since I do believe that Sana is on the si-ne axis, however, I have a hard time understand how his si is more prominent than his ne. Sure, he's a writer, yet he solely relies on Hooni's experiences and has difficulty crafting things on his own, and rather look for details that he could use, rather than trying to find connections or making things up on his own, which is why whenever Hooni would be occupied he would panic, because his material source was gone. Another thing, but this is the one where I'm the less sure to be honest, but I think he might be a high te user, rather than being on the fe-ti axis, sure he was able to find all of the right things to say to Hooni and could be quite manipulative at times however, it was all to accomplish his objective to be the 1rst writer, he didn't care about Hooni's feelings nor what it could lead to, he wanted to accomplish his objective (te) first and foremost, and saying so many nice things to Hooni was the fastest way of doing so. I'm gonna be honest, my thoughts was that he was xstj, however, I am aware that he's very, very likely a core 3 along with a very strong 6 in the tritype (I'll explain that one right after), hence the fact he might come off as more si-te ish, which is why I'm not gonna vote him as xstj for now. Until then, could someone explain me why he's typed as an ENTP please ? Anyway, for the enneagram, I think that he's definitely either a core 3, possibly a core 6. I'm leaning more towards 3 due to the fact that he wanted to show all along that he was the best writer. It's also why he had such a reaction when he was accused of cheating, and that at the time, he thought that his career was over, which was easily the worse thing that could have happened to him : "Retirement, was a word my mind that I was trying to ignore. I want to be in first place. I want to be successful. But publishing has to be discontinued for babies with broken wings.. That's how it works. If a bird flew like that, it would hit the floor.. [...] Everyone eventually fall in despair, at some point that day will come, the higher the stack the more likely it will fall.. I feel.. Done." At that time, I think that he showed some signs of disintegration to a 9, where as he said it himself, he wouldn't go to school for over two months, just staying in his room because he "wanted to rest for a little while", becoming completely avoidant of reality altogether. His dream was crushed, he would never be a successful writer, and can now only face his failure. I'm gonna honest, the reason that I believe that he's a 3 first and foremost was because of his desire to be successful, but also of his apparent disintegration to a 9. EDIT : For the 3 core, I also checked the wiki, and I think that the description there honestly really fits it : "Because he grew up hearing words of affirmation, he cannot accept failure. He will work very hard to be in first place, whether that be on Lezhin comics, or in general life. He sets many goals, and will do almost anything to achieve them. Even if that means being mean to his brother or pretending to be friends with people, so be it." 1/2 However, I think that there's still a possibility that he's a core 6, or at least has a very, very strong 6 fix in his tritype, which is also why I'm really surprised that he got typed as a 7 > 6, but at the same time the author only delved into his arc recently, after the official english translation stopped (if anyone wants the link to the next chapters, don't hesitate!).
