Pippin MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Pippin? Pippin is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sp/sx - 471 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
He seems incredibly Fi, everyone can agree on that. I think it's more likely that he's intuitive because one of his main struggles in the musical is his inability to focus on the moment. He's always looking for the next thing to do, always having a sense of obligation towards the future. The song "No Time at All" is all about an Se user encouraging him to indulge in the experiences around him, something he struggles to do. When he does seek out sensual experiences, he does a poor job of managing and enjoying them. In contrast, he refers to his past experiences constantly when considering what to do in the future, which appears very Si. The way he seeks a purpose in many different fields instead of choosing one main goal seems very Ne. I feel like an ISFP would have used their Ni to pick out a singular goal, (being a good heir, being a great warrior, etc.), and then used that as their goal. In contrast, Pippin is torn in many directions, always believing that there is some better solution to his problem. That seems very Ne. I believe he's likely an INFP. In terms of enneagram, he's definitely a 4. I honestly don't think he has a wing, he's just pure 4. I chose to put down 4w5 over 4w3 because he rarely seems externally motivated.
