What personality type is Malak? Malak is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/so - 835 in Enneagram, in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Ok, just because the Devil is commonly depicted as ENTP in traditional folklore does not mean thus is the case for Malak. First of all, if you analyze the majority of Malak's dialogue and interactions you will see he uses Te primarily. He is blunt, direct, and speaks in orders and commands. The only time him using anything close to charisma is mentioned is during audio logs and notes, and even then it's short lives and is not his default state as shown by the game. So he is a Te Dom. Good to know. Now what about Si vs Ni aux. Well if you compare him to Bierce, who is an ENTJ, you will see that she is more goal focused. All of her actions have some kind of endgame that they are leading up to. In this case, harnassing the full power of the ring. Malak on the other hand seems more concerned with preserving the power he already has, as opposed to working towards some kind of grand scheme. His use of tert Ne is hinted at with all the crazy realms he has conjured up as well as all the different tricks he thinks of to try and take down Doug Houser. However at the end of the day he does not take Ne as seriously as someone with Dom Ne would, and mostly uses it as a tool or something fun to play around with like someone with aux Ne would. I am not entirely certain so I will look more into that.

Malak, also known as Lord Malak, is a malevolent and powerful demon and the main antagonist of Dark Deception. He is ruler of each of the game's nightmares, and a recurring threat in levels from Chapter 2 onward.
