What personality type is Ramsey Murdoch? Ramsey Murdoch is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - so/sp - 649 in Enneagram, SLOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
I think people got the Ti right (he does a lot of things that make sense to him from a logical standpoint, mostly to save his own skin) but his Ne use is his trademark feature, as some commenters already described. I'm actually curious if any ESTP voters could share their reasoning, though, because I'd like to see where you're seeing dominant Se (heh, it rhymes). ESFP, though... Because he's fearful and impulsive? I'm not seeing Fi > Fe at all. I’m a bit torn on his Big Five, though. He’s ultimately out for himself because he’s on the run from both the authorities and the enemies he’s made, but he's a pretty nice dude when he really doesn’t have to be (giving Giovanni advice and helping him escape the tavern, giving Percy assistance that wasn’t for his own benefit). The conman with a (literal) heart of gold is a great way to describe him. I don't think he would have agreed to be an asset to the authorities so quickly after being arrested if he was egocentric too. I could see him getting a pretty big ego from all the people he's swindled, and he does have a little bit of that, but he doesn't really seem to think he's all that and caves to cooperating pretty easily. So maybe I answered my own question, leaning towards SCUAI but I'd love to hear other opinions. Anyone have any thoughts on Limbic vs Calm, too? It's hard to say but I also think SLUAI could also work. I don't really want to use his frequent heightened emotions as an example because I think anybody would be anxious if they were going to get snuffed by a 6'3" cowboy lady who could alter the flow of time, but he's very emotive and prone to stress. He also seems to harbor some low self-esteem from his appearance (he calls his face "gross" and "horrible" a couple of times). I dunno though, seems like he's at average health otherwise, it's just that his lifestyle causes a lot of anxiety, so it's hard to say.
