Honestly. I think he is more of an ENTP. Why? He is so incredibly against everything that is considered ordinary. He talks to this major guy and does not care about his rank, status anything. He is bored, and has a huge aversion towards everyone who is not like him. That is a typical Si inferior trait. Unhealthy ENTPs are against the establishment for no reason then just being the antithesis and enjoying it. For the sake of it, so to speak. There is no logic needed, but only the understanding that Eggman is the deviant in this world. He sees himself as the exception of the rule. He truly lives in his own world, and the world domination thing, that is all just a goal. He even said it in the 2nd movie that he does not know what he will do when he dominated the multiverse. He likes to leave things open and he enjoys the unexpected chaos, this is a look clear sign for his Ne, since Ni users do not enjoy it, they want structure, and more importantly, the want to stay independent and unattached to the outside world. He sees a lot of potential in different things. More importantly, his inspiration comes from the outside, he gets thrown into this world where Sonic is there, and he sees what he can do, the same with the 2nd movie. He always faces something new and gets inspired by it. I am believing he has amazing demonstrative Te. And I like to think that he is deep down an inventor who likes to test things out and sees what happens, to explore so to speak. Just an interpretation of mine, but I do believe yes he is an ENTP 3w4. I am open for input.
