What personality type is Eurylochus? Eurylochus is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - - 684 in Enneagram, in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
I think Eury and Ody are different types of T. Ody's rationality lies in logical reasoning, he believes that there is nothing in the world that can't be solved by debating and negotiating (Ti), and tries to reach co-operation with people (Fe), like Ti-Fe. Eury's rationality lies in maximizing efficiency, for example, ‘let's raid that island, that's the fastest way to get food (Te), without worrying about what the people on the island think (low Fe)', like Te-Fi. Eury's Mutiny can also be explained by Fi, when he discovers that he has handed the torch to his six best friends and killed them, he immediately starts to rebel. Eury still has some curiosity (Ne) as seen in his behaviour when he opens the windbag. He likely went through a bit of a struggle between following orders (Si) and trying to break orders(Ne) and ultimately chose to open the bag. Another explanation that comes to my mind is that the Si users wanted to maintain their old patterns of life, but ‘everything changed since polites’, and Eury could no longer do so, which may have dealt him a major blow and sent him into an unhealthy state Ne. This can be seen when Eury starts arguing with Ody in storm and luck runs out, trying to rebel against the Captain's authority. PLZ discuss with me!!!!!!!
