What personality type is James Bonde? James Bonde is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - sx/sp - 215 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
This page is a mess.. I've only been on the PDB page for 3 months so I'd be happy if someone counters my points here or any misconceptions i have. For his pronouns, I will be referring to his gender at that specific part of the manga so she/her for when she was Adler and he/him for Bonde. I will attempt to show examples and explain how Adler/Bonde displays Ne-Ti-Fe-Si since there are still those who doubt her/his ENTP-ness (I'm very sure of this, maybe 98.7%). I will also attempt to explain 2w3 and present what I think the respective tritype and instinctual variants are. EP11 Saving the girl who fell into the water because of what happened to her successor(Fe-Si). Her motive is basically, I want to reform the world (Fe) because of someone important to me from the past who was deprived of what she was due (Si). I will do this by using my feminine allure to exploit the upper class's weaknesses (Ti-Fe). Fe seems more suited for the whole exploiting with feminine allure, but I will provide more Fe>Fi arguments later. EP13 "Why did the thief who stole the documents choose not to do anything?" -Stealing the papers without any clear plan, seeing the possibility of those papers being of use, and acting on that thought. This refutes the Ni usage of ENFJ votes. ENFJ would have developed a more elaborate plan (Ni) to achieve her goal of reforming the country (Fe). Moriarty's invitation to the ball. "You could have taken me into your custody at Baker Street. The fact that you didn't shows that you do not wish to deal roughly with me." -Used her aux function (Ti) to factualize Moriarty's intentions. EP15 "Beat the robbers in such a way that no one would know it was us (Ne-Ti), and rescue the hostages (Fe)." -The conclusion he reaches and how he reaches it shows Ne-Ti-Fe use. Formulating possibilities, logically ascertaining what is and determining what will logically happen based on her Fe knowledge of people. Fe is also used to consider the hostages, however he mentions this only after establishing their mission. "If I can do as I would like to, then that's just what I'll do. I was never one to fit into any mold (Ne>Si)." If this isn't Pe dom, I don't know what is. EP16 Coin-kicking idea, hell I love this one so much! "Your idea is unorthodox, just like you!" - Obvious Ne demonstration, he highly relied on his creative ways of formulating a solution. This came quickly to him, solidifying the use of dominant Ne. I love how well he worked with ESTP Moran throughout the show, the more grounded Se user assisted by the idealizing Ne user. ESFJ made sense at first, but I can't see Bonde using Si over Ne. She willingly cut her hair, changed her lifestyle, adapted a new persona, too much Ne dom. In addition to my ENFJ rebuttal of Ni, if she were ENFJ I cannot see any Ni at all so we could argue she was in a "loop" so Fe-Se loop? However, her Fe was not used with Se at all, she focused on the possibilities of how she could help the lower class through the idea of manipulating the higher class (Ne-Fe). There are very few Ti examples, I think this should be highlighted since there are ENFP votes. I did consider it at first, but ENFP would mean Ti PoLR which won't make sense if combined with her Prima Donna history. Despite how much she loved acting, she left because her Ti established that 'noble connections>talent', she used both analysis and establishing of the true and false (Ti) based on how the world affected her (Si). We can see where her reasons come from, it does not come from the outside (Te), but from her own established systems from experience (Ti-Si). For Fe>Fi, Fe concerns itself with being who you should be for the world, regardless of who you are, she became a thief to help the lower class. She suppressed her being Prima Donna (what she wants, Fi) for the lower class (for other people, Fe). Definitions taken B. Chestnut: "Type 2 focuses on relationships, gaining approval, and seducing others through helpfulness". Paired with 3, they become extremely goal-oriented which aligns with Bonde's motive, to make a difference in the noble class. As for sx2, the "femme fatale" archetype, which is magnificently fit for Bonde oh my. "Energetically like a force of nature, this is a person who becomes irresistable, who inspires great passions and positive feelings as a way to meet needs in life." As for the tritype, 287, this is someone who likes to help other people (2) in a dominating way through 8 fix. This is where Adler's thievery and resorting to crime is explained. The 8 fix asserts core 2's while still prioritizing other's needs (2>8). 7 is greatly shown in his missions with M16 and how he approached his life before as a Prima Donna. This shows in her being energetic and fast paced, sometimes planning for fun but still maintaining their options open. While 7w8 may seem plausible, his core motivations and fears align better with 2 core.

James Bonde (ジェームズ・ボンド Jēmuzu Bondo), previously known as Irene Adler (アイリーン・アドラー Airiin Adorā), is an affiliate of William James Moriarty's. After the death of “Irene Adler”, he joins MI6 as James Bonde and serves as an important ally to the Moriarty's.
