What personality type is Ted Lasso? Ted Lasso is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - so/sx - 279 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Just from how he uses his Fe to interact and connect with people even if they underestimate or belittle him, he still tries them with respect and try to right by them even though he doesn't have to. I don't think he uses Ni or Se just from how he plans his plays and how he deals with practice drills but also not noticing that he was being manipulated by Rebecca throughout the majority of the show. His tertiary Ne really shows just from how random and wholesome his ideas are for teamwork and also life lessons for everyone. His Si really shows a lot just from how he is observant from how he see others like Rebecca's ex husband, tried to manipulate him or people in his life and catches them lying most of the time. But seriously, I really love this character and how optimistic he is even if most of the people around him want him to fail. I love how the writing for this character has a balance of wholesome and realism just like them of the show and doesn't portray him as a cookie cut character like a lot Fe Dom are stereotypically portrayed in the media. Anyway, If you have not watch this show, please do. It is really good and worth the watch, I can't wait for season 2 in a few weeks! :D
Biography
Ted is an American football coach who is recruited to be the manager of a Premier League team AFC Richmond, despite having no experience with Association Football whatsoever. He turns out to be far from just another bumbling foreigner, but what's even more disarming is his ridiculous niceness, and he slowly earns the love and admiration of his new team.
