Impressionists MBTI Personality Type

Impressionists MBTI Personality Type image

Personality

What personality type is Impressionists? Impressionists is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 974 in Enneagram, in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.

Definitely seeing ISFP here, along with the rest of the Se users. Fi relating to high Impressionism, and Se correlating to moderate Linearity. I'm finding a lot of Ti users identify with the impressionistic side, so xSTP (and a whole host of others) are likely here too. Would high Linearity and high Impressionism lead to high decisiveness (the kind seen in the Enneagram 8)?

Biography

50-75% Linear / 75-100% Impressionistic Reality Circumnavigators (Impressionists) Realize (both bring clearly to mind and make real) the passage of and to the ever-withdrawing and transcendent (escaping the bounds of the paradigm) aspects of reality. Reality circumnavigators live in the moment with time seizing to exist entirely, there is rather a space of impressions for them to explore. Their analysis looks at sufficiently large objects for them to actually get somewhere on that quest, again, unlike the autists who feel the need to dissect everything further. Communication requires immense overcoding and artistry, but their actions are a decent medium for doing so if all else fails.
