[Small and Scattered Analysis from 7.0 Archon Quest] Spoilers ahead (maybe) "I got into scientific research because of my insatiable curiosity. But if the present situation defies all known scientific explanations, I don't mind shifting my curiosity toward the paranomal instead" The ILE, no matter in which field, always love to see the world as it is. They're never too opinionated just because they're wise. They learn for the sake of exploring multiple prospects and their applications. If the world around them shifts, they willingly alter their own frameworks, and adapt very quicky to implicit clues (Ti). Their drive is never a definite answer, but a set of moving and flexible knowledge that can be yielded like a weapon, serving them best in conversations that highlight reasoning. Mitya doesn't hesistate to shift his reasoning from his strength (science) to a seemingly dreamy or impossible prospect. His version of science showcased his ego block: Ne (a base of profound and concise graps of the essence within each object and event - the base of his research is "curiosity" first and foremost) and Ti (backed by the grand purpose of building understanding and personal frameworks). With Ti as his creative function, he never feels the need to dismiss someone or to think of himself as correct in all debates. Arguing for him is an enjoyable process (he rarely shows distress when reasoning). Facing obstructions means reconstructing his framework so that he can understand and is convinced by it (hence why he didn't push the "paranomal" possibility right from the start, and just went with the flow when others didn't prioritize his ideas). Fi PoLR backed by mobilizing Fe: A pathological liar with natural gift for noticing their emotional surrounding. He lies almost as if it's an experiment. The thing is, he isn't exactly bothered by being exposed for his lies, nor when he's apprently "hated". He just called it a day and, moved on with whatever topic they were on. This shows he has a horrible radar for interpersonal love and hatred - he couldn't really tell Vodyanitsa was "personally" offended (despite all the vocal and expressionist clues). And even after she voiced out her frustration and told him "well, it's fine", he just said "ok fair enough". Because for him, there's no more reason to dwell on the matter if the person stated that it's fine - he fills his PoLR in by logic. This is textbook Fi PoLR. A person who was not completely blind to this aspect would be more worried, even if they don't show it. However this guy is GENUINELY not bothered at all. And he would rather ignore the implicit emotional hints when he cannot register it logically. Another example of his PoLR Fi would be his interaction with Odette. He asked the traveler "Does she hate me? She has been staring at me dude" - and to this the traveler just made some bullsh*t up, either saying "Yea she does hate your ahh" or "Nah she doesnt". Either way, this Mitya guy would just nod and... ignore her. He can notice surface level clues of emotions very quickly (which is an Fe info), however when an interaction touches deeper level of connections (offence, hatred, wariness...) he simply cannot see why, how, or whether or not he's being blamed/hated at all. And he treats these info as very unimportant, often swayed by others' reasoning regarding such aspect. And for this, he makes up for his blindspot by being a liar. He seems very natural with this activity, complimenting Vodyanitsa smoothly and paying for the Rokot's meal so he can reveal that he in fact knew they were all there. He lies with little effort, acts very detached from whatever identity he could possibly have, and often doing all of these deceptive and funsy acts with no intent of harming others. He only does it as a habit, as something that helps him control himself and the situation the most naturally. "Work time is a social construct you know. If humans just let go of it and consider all time work time, they would make miracles" "Consider my sacrifice an experiment." With that said, he ran right into the raging storm. He had no plans. He figured it out on the way, even if he was unsure and, possibly, scared. He wasn't anxious. The ILE prefers to build distance far-reaching plans, that become corrected by time and circumstances. He dislikes planning anything in short or compressed periods of time, since the ILE does not like to hurry, and takes up any work only for as long as he has inspiration. The ILE does not distribute some specific quantity of work over time, since this constrains and inconveniences him too much." He can totally organize his time and plans - He simply choose not to because of his own ideas. For his Si (rountines, schedule,...), he's got a Valery to take care of it for him. I don't have any further information, but we know that he's very comfortable with being man-handled when it comes to rountines. He only hides from Valery when he's got big ideas to pursue.
