Sakiko Togawa MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Sakiko Togawa? Sakiko Togawa is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 416 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

I think Sakiko is an INTJ 4w3. Specifically SP 4. SP 4 and suppressed Envy: She endured all of her pain on her own and refused to be vulnerable for both seasons of MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica? She simply suppresses her emotions (specifically that of envy, yearning, and regret) for a lot of the time. And she also tackles with the constant feeling of envy and yearning towards the band members of CRYCHIC and MyGO. Constantly looking back at what's already gone, what she threw away... And for most of S1 and S2, it is what haunts her emotions. Check out ep 7 of MyGO (the iconic Haruhikage ep). What caused Saki so much there when she saw the band play the song she herself composed? Envy. She was reminded of what she lost from leaving CRYCHIC. Her having to see them play her favorite song, but not be able to take part in it. Something she treasured so deeply but was forced to throw away. A period of time that once made her so happy, long gone and other people were able to experience what she used to enjoy so much. She then tries to suppress her feelings (envy and yearning, in particular), desperately wanting to erase them from her mind. This led to her asking Uika to help her forget everything, and then forming Ave Mujica so she can have a means to attain what she's currently missing (even if it's just a substitute). Her forming Ave Mujica and immersing in its world is her way of suppressing the envy she felt. Specifically, from seeing other CRYCHIC members doing what she wanted but couldn't. Update post-AM Ep 12: Sakiko also embodies a savior complex, which is also a tendency for SP4s to have. She tries to carry other people's burdens, even if it may be too much for her to deal with. We see this early on with her trying to handle her dad's issues, and now, Hatsune and the other band members. With everything above, it can be argued that she is actually an SP4, and not E3. Ni-dom and Fi tert: I rewatched ep 3 of MyGO and ep 1 of Ave Mujica and looked at what Saki was like before she was put under heavy stress. I think Sakiko also is an Ni-dom with a good usage of Fi, it was shown a lot when she was still younger and truer to herself. She was talking about bands in an idealistic manner, saying how they're all "bounded by destiny". Also, how she was able to deeply interpret Tomori's lyrics and was immediately able to make a natural interpretation of them (AND THEN CRY FROM BEING MOVED?) shows both high Ni and Fi usage. Another detail that supports her being an Ni-dom is how she naturally deals with abstract concepts like "wanting to be human" (MyGO ep 3 and AM ep 7) and how idealistic she treats the "world of Ave Mujica." ENTJ? Te-dom? Seemingly so, but actually not. I don't think she is ENTJ. That side is just a facade she puts on when she acts as Oblivionis. Also, I don't think an ENTJ would cling to the "ideal way" of handling Ave Mujica as much as Saki did. Remember in Ave Mujica ep 3, when she was arguing with Nyamu over how Mujica should prioritize playing music keeping their identity vs. giving what the audience wants by letting Mutsumi act? I don't think an ENTJ (Te-dom) would be so hung up over the vision of what Ave Mujica should have been (Ni/Fi). An ENTJ or any practical Te-dom would most likely leverage the situation more by giving the fans what they want (also maximizing the benefits of Mutsumi's popularity), over clinging to the ideal vision of how Ave Mujica is. I also think an ENTJ would have done a better job at handling the situation with Mortis showing up. Instead, her Te usage (most likely aux) just shut down during those times of stress. She was too focused on her losing her friend and did not think to have Mortis fake playing the guitar or find other suitable alternatives (Te-dom would most likely prepare for this), because she was so hung up with her ideal way of how bands should be like and was too tunnel-visioned on the fact that Mutsumi is now gone (that they all play together and are bound by destiny, very Ni and Fi). I'd argue an ENTJ would have handled that situation better, at least in the sense of keeping the band together even if it's just as a functional/professional group. Instead, her usage of Te just plummeted and she shut down and simply let Ave Mujica disband. Inconsiderate and unaware of others' feelings: Another thing, notice the pattern of how she is unaware of how she affects people emotionally and how she can't tell what feelings her friends have from their interactions with her...? That's Fe-blind right there. She always happens to draw in people and reach out to them, sharing her grand visions and plans when forming her bands. However, her lack of awareness of how she might have affected said people as well as failing to communicate with them caused a lot of the conflict in both seasons (on top of mostly not following through with her commitments and running away). Note: This opinion is from rewatching S1 and S2. Latest ep is ep 12.
