I think "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle" is a brilliant movie, and it was easy to peg Harold as an IXXJ. IXTJ became more apparent when taking into account how he's mostly just strictly polite and does not have a genuine interest in being affiliative, evidenced by his banter with Kumar. He's not the most bullheaded of his type, but I do think that it's more probable he is an ISTJ than an INTJ, ISFJ, or INFJ. Kumar : "I can't believe you were gonna ditch for the Joy Luck Club, dude. You know what their parties are like." Harold : "C'mon, what did you want me to say? I was under pressure." Kumar : "Just say no. That's all it takes." This dialogue examples Harold's dominant subjective opportunism/asceticism (Si). ✅ Notice how he's compliant with external order to a fault. ✅ Notice he likes to scale options down to the ordinal, which is the opposite of Kumar (ENTP) who wants to expand options up to the cardinal and the chaotic.
