Personality

What personality type is Eivor Varinsdòttir? Eivor Varinsdòttir is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sx/so - 825 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.

I used to think she was an ENFP but now I surely know she's an ISFP. I will use some of my old arguments together with some newer ones to explain I completed Valhalla so my explanation will contain some spoilers I can understand why people type her as an INTJ since she uses Fi and Te a lot but she's definitely not a Ni dom. First of all, remember all the Odin visions. I like to think of Odin as the uncertainty in her head, the mix of various ideas and possibilities which flow and she can't decide what to do every time an important decision steps in so Odin gives her some advice. Odin is Ni but not Ni dom tho since she doesn't necessarily follow what he has to say and in the end she also "eliminates" him. Once Odin was out of her head she becomes a fully grown person and Sigurd and other characters get to admire that so Odin is the result of the Fi-Ni loop rather than Ni dom. She also uses Fi a lot. Her own moral code guides her across the whole game. She does what she wants but she's also loyal to Sigurd and her clan. You can clearly see her Fi for example when Sigurd decided to give that harsh sentence to the painter of the village and she disagreed at first (then you had to make a choice). She also disagreed with Sigurd's intention to betray Geadric when helping Fulke so she definitely uses Fi a lot. Also, in "Valhalla" she clearly gets nostalgic about her parents and even tho she's disappointed with her father, she still loves him and wishes to meet him at least once again. An important Fi-Se indicator is near the end of the game when she and Sigurd go to "Valhalla" and she decided that she hates this routine and perfect "fantasy" world "Valhalla" has to offer since she feels like every day is the same and it's boring and unrealistic. She feels like there's still a lot to do in England, possibilities to explore. She seems really grounded in reality and wants to shake off anything that distracts her from living in reality She always seemed driven by revenge and other "on the moment stimuli". She never really followed anything else rather than Fi-Se until later in the game. The situations she faced and the time with Odin inside her head made her work more towards her inferior function Te and she developed it really well thorough the story. She gets to think in a more efficient way. Before, she used to criticize Basim and Sigurd for keeping a low profile and sneaking rather than going all out in a fight. Later on, she managed to adopt this strategic fighting style too. There are certain missions where she and a different companion decide to rescue different people from forts and she tells the companion to do it in a sneaky way first since it can be better than just going all out. Also let's remember that in the beginning of the game she followed lots of orders before sieges while later on in the game she started to plan most of the castles and fortress attacks across England herself
