He wants everything to make sense according to his own logical framework. He can become fed up with the illogical behaviour of other people (just look at him with Donkey), and this can cause to become grumpy or even sarcastic. Shrek is more interested than enjoying the process rather than getting things done. Shrek becomes annoyed when he has to deal with the fairytale creatures, because he knows this will mean he has to do extra work. In the beginning of 'Shrek Forever After', he hates how restricted he is in his daily routine and and how much responsibilities he has to do because none of it makes sense to him. While he can sometimes dislike change because it doesn't make sense to him, he can almost instantly adapt and adjust to his new environments without much worry. He loves to be thrilled, and is shown to love being chased by humans and swinging and jumping off buildings in the fourth movie. However, he can be rather impulsive and impatient, and can do things without using his Ni or thinking about possible negative consequences. An example of this would be when he takes the Happily Ever After potion and becomes human, or when he gets a wish from Rumpelstiltskin to remove one day of his life...
