Kobe Bryant MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Kobe Bryant? Kobe Bryant is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/sx - 358 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

Kobe was rather subjective in his decision making and preferred using his own logical framework for how he operated on the basketball court. In his early career, one of Kobe coaches described Kobe as being "uncoachable" (quote posted below) since Kobe always preferred to do his own thing rather than follow some established or external standard. Fe-inf is also clear. Kobe was initially not the best with teamwork and was known to clash with some of his teammates (go read older personal accounts from his teammates). However, as Kobe got older/deeper into his career, he improved in working well with his teammates and maintaining external harmony. ➽ From Coach Phil Jackson: " I’m sure Kobe was pissed when I wrote in ‘The Last Season’ that he was uncoachable. And, yes, we were often at loggerheads. He wanted more freedom and I wanted him to be more disciplined. But when I came back for my second stint with the Lakers, Kobe and I worked it all out. I gave him more of a license to do his thing, as long as it stayed within the overall context of the triangle." (Ti, Fe-inf) Some of Kobe's moves were also learned via analyzing animals that he saw on his TV, which would be adopted into his own logical framework for how he operated on the court. An example is how Kobe analyzed & studied the movement of a Cheetah that he saw on his TV to create his own jumping technique for his games. Con't.
