What personality type is Raiden? Raiden is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - so/sx - 162 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

I understand ENFJ votes but Raiden's functions are as clear as water. Dom Ni: This guy completely believes on his visions, he killed Liu Kang a thousand of times just because of this, he's completely obsessed with his visions and the Gods, if he were an ENFJ, then he would use his Fe over his Ni and didn't kill Liu Kang, he wouldn't become Dark Raiden, but he clearly puts his Ni overall, even over his close relations (Ni > Fe) Aux Fe: He can pretty easily understand and empathize with people, Raiden's wish to avoid the Earth being consumed is just pure Fe, he's ready to give his life to save it and is always trying to maximize abilities and pros of other people around him, he's a good adviser at unexperienced or damaged people and he clearly understands them pretty good, a good way to see how he uses Fe is seeing him interact with Scorpion, he understand his pain and doesn't guilt him for wanting vengeance, but he also tries to convince him to not kill Sub-Zero to preserve his plan. Tert Ti: Raiden has a particularly strong Ti, far stronger than most INFJs actually, this is the main reason of why ENFJ is not accurate, Tert Se and Inf Ti for Raiden is just, no. In his ending in MK11, he said that he used to ignore his feelings because he thought that the logic was superior (he was forcing himself to use Ni-Ti instead of Ni-Fe-Ti), but then he noticed that his logic was just based in fear (6 on his tritype), so he decided to take "logical" actions filled with "love" (Ni-Fe-Ti) Inf Se: Pretty clear too, this is the main reason of why he's not ENFJ, he has almost no Se at all, he doesn't percieve surroundings, or more likely, he doesn't care about them, he only care about what he thinks is better either via intuition, via logic, via visions, he never cared about the practical world like Liu Kang did, he was actually pretty disconnected from the present, always seeking from another meaning, for a pattern, for a plan, and never seeing the actual panoram, absolute 0 Se. His whole character arc is based on stop thinking that his Fe is bad and by extension, stop forcing himself to use Ti above Fe (You can see how that damaged him in MK9, he felt like **** because he ignored his Fe trying to use Ni-Ti, and that's the reason he killed Liu Kang), and of course, develop a better Se and release that you can't depend 100% on Ni (like another INFJ with no Se at all feel pretty identified tho) At the end of the day is because of this that Raiden is my fav character in the whole franchise, some characters are pretty well written like Johnny Cage or Scorpion but Raiden is so good that you can imagine an entire movie based only on his character arc.
