Personality

What personality type is Jonathan "John" Murphy? Jonathan "John" Murphy is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - 683 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.

SPOILERS! (well..duh...obviously) Ti: Murphy is pretty independent. He does what he can to survive. He doesn't care about his feelings or the feelings of others. He knows what he has to do and he gets it done. He is aloof and quiet. Se: Murphy is able to adapt to any situation that comes his way. He is a survivor and is physically capable. He sometimes acts impulsively, which sometimes gets him into problems with his group. He grows attached to the earth because he realizes he thrives there. He is a quick thinker and gets bored when nothing interesting or intense is going on. Ni: Murphy's long term goal is to stay alive, but other than that, he does not really care to better the world, just to survive in it. He is very realistic in what is plausible and what is not. He is the common sense character. Fe: Murphy struggles to find his place with the 100. But as the seasons go on, he develops a certain loyalty to the group. On the ship, he feels useless because his survival skills are not needed or being used (Se also). He likes to feel useful, but still prefers to have his own space. He acts socially inappropriate many times (threatens to kill Clarke if she kills Emori). I can actually see ISTJ too, but I think ISTP is a more appropriate fit.
